Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen in the app or on this website, choose Forgot Password? and enter the email you sign in with. We’ll email you a link to choose a new password.

The link works once and expires after 1 hour. If you ask for another one, only the newest link works. Resetting your password signs you out on every phone and browser, so sign in again with the new password. Your connected assistant keeps working.

No email? Check your spam folder, then ask for a new link.

How do I change my password?

Open Account and choose Change Password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice. Passwords need at least 8 characters.

The phone or browser you’re using stays signed in. Every other session is signed out and will need the new password.

In the app, open Account by tapping your email in the Home menu. On this website, choose Account at the top of the page.

How do I sign out of other devices?

Open Account and look under Sessions. It lists every phone and browser signed in to your account and when each was last used.

To sign out one of them, choose Sign Out next to it on this website, or swipe left on it in the app. To sign out everything except the device you’re using, choose Sign Out of All Other Sessions.

How do I delete my account, and what gets deleted?

Open Account in the app or on this website, choose Delete Account, and enter your password to confirm. Deletion is permanent and happens right away.

It removes everything tied to your account: your lists, notes, and recipes, your recently bought items, your connected assistants and their access, the links and photos you’ve shared, your sign-ins on every device, and messages you’ve sent us from this page.

If you choose to tell us why you’re leaving, that answer is kept without your name, email, or anything else that links it to you.

How do I connect my AI assistant?

Open Account and choose Set Up Connected Assistant. Pick Grok Bot, then paste the webhook URL and the key (the Authorization header value) from your Grok Bot routine, and save. Choose Send Test to check that it arrives.

Grok Bot reads your lists, notes, and recipes through its Pokit Note connector, so also connect Pokit Note in Grok Bot and choose Approve when it asks.

You can choose what your assistant hears about: Things I share (links and photos from the share sheet) and Changes I make (lists, notes, and recipes you create or edit).

How long do you keep shared photos?

7 days. Shared photos are stored privately and deleted after 7 days. Before we save a photo, we remove its location and other hidden details.

Your assistant only gets a private link to the photo, and each link stops working after 1 hour. The record of a share, without the photo, is removed after 30 days.

How do I turn off change updates to my assistant for a list?

Open the list, tap the ••• menu, and choose Info. Set Assistant updates to Off. Notes and recipes have the same setting under Info. It’s on by default.

To stop change updates for everything at once, turn off Changes I make in your Connected Assistant settings.

Which assistants work with Pokit Note?

Grok Bot works with Pokit Note today. Support for more assistants is coming soon.

Is there an Android app?

Not yet. Pokit Note is an iPhone app for now. You can use this website on any device to manage your account and your connected assistant.

How do I use Face ID?

After you sign in with your email and password on an iPhone with Face ID, Pokit Note asks whether to turn it on. Choose Turn on Face ID, and next time you can choose Sign in with Face ID instead of typing your password. If you skip it, you’ll be asked again the next time you sign in with your password.

To turn Face ID off, open Account and choose Sign Out. That fully signs out this iPhone and turns off Face ID. Log out in the Home menu is different: it keeps Face ID on, so you can sign back in with Face ID.
